I am so lucky to have so many beautiful wedding venues near me. From the moment I was booked, I’ve been so excited to do this wedding at Bingham Riverhouse which is just a 10 minute drive away from me in Kingston. The lovely couple chose Leigh Chappell to do their flowers so I knew we were in store for some dreamy, romantic floral arrangements. And Emma Joy had been hired to plan the wedding as well as be in charge of running everything on the day, so I just knew it was going to be a wonderful wedding to be involved in. I’ve shared some images here for now as I patiently wait for the professional images to be processed, which I hope I can share with you soon.
If you follow me on Instagram, I always try and share clips from behind the scenes and I did capture some short videos of the gorgeous views over the River Thames.
Outside the dining area, there is a lovely outdoor bar and lounge and considering how warm it was on Sunday, the drinks looked very appealing. Altogether, a gorgeous venue for a relaxed, laidback wedding that’s full of class.
Some more beautiful bouquets from Leigh that were waiting to be gifted – always a lovely idea to get some bouquets made up in the wedding flowers to say thank you to loved ones.
You’ll know that I love to decorate my buttercream with beautiful fresh flowers. I decided to style the flowers in a more loose and romantic way, much inspired by how Leigh creates her arrangements. I had peonies, stunning Juliet roses (the divine peach coloured ones) and pretty white wild flowers to play with.
Three delicious tiers in red velvet sponge cake with vanilla cream cheese frosting, vanilla and raspberry sponge cake with white chocolate ganache and lemon sponge cake with lemon curd and lemon buttercream. I’ve heard that everyone loved the cake – so I’m definitely one happy wedding cake maker!
