On a gloriously sunny day in the month of May, I travelled down to a rural setting in the Hampshire countryside for a wedding at Bury Court Barn – a beautiful and romantic wedding venue with its lofty oak beams, twinkling fairy lights and the prettiest walled garden.
My lovely bride and groom had requested a five tier buttercream cake that would take centre stage in the main barn. I knew everything about this wedding would be incredibly romantic, so to add an extra special touch, I decorated each tier with hand-made edible lace. The flowers from Van Arthur Florists were in a coral, blush and cream colour palette. I had heavenly roses, dahlias and peonies to play with as well as thistles and foliage to add texture and body.

I loved all the details on the tables with vintage books and pretty cups and saucers. It was a really dreamy wedding. If you’d like to see more photos of Bury Court Barn, you can take a look at my blog post from last autumn.
