
I’ve started my 2019 wedding season off with a beautiful Spring wedding at the stunning Pembroke Lodge. This gorgeous venue is but 5 minutes away from me and is located in the middle of Richmond Park. A beautiful sanctuary that I escape to most days of the week. It’s a place where I find huge inspiration for my cake designs too. I am so excited as this is the first of many weddings to come this year at Pembroke Lodge and each one is different in style and theme.

So today’s wedding was all about the season, with beautiful fresh Spring flowers like tulips, ranunculus and blush pink roses. And the wedding cake itself was a simple but beautiful design in a semi-naked buttercream finish. The tiers were made up of chocolate sponge cake with vanilla buttercream, and vanilla & raspberry sponge cake with white chocolate ganache. Super tasty flavours for this small, intimate wedding.
