Considering how much I love indie, bohemian wedding vibes, I can’t believe this is my first actual Boho wedding shoot and it was great to be doing something a little different. Hannah of Oh Snap Uk offers a bespoke photo booth service as well as hiring out VW camper vans. So it was really fun to get involved in this laidback and relaxed style shoot. The inspiration centred around rich, jewel tones and a simple, rustic wedding for a modern, cool couple.
There were stunning flowers from Gemma of Iris & Co, who put together an array of florals using pampas, dried palms and grasses which contrasted with the warm, deep colours of the flowers. There was lots of texture and depth and colour. All gorgeous!
Oh my, I loved the brief for the cake for this shoot. I let my inner artist run free! Buttercream brushstrokes in forest green, ruby red, mustard yellow and rusty orange, speckled gold and touches of edible leaf. Then finished with a combination of fresh blush pink flowers and dried grass, foliage and pampas. I loved the Moroccan inspired backdrop too.
And then there was the very hip and boho furniture from Ella at Surrey Wedding Company, which looked amazing against the rustic walls of the barn. I loved the neon sign paired with the peacock chairs. And the macramé backdrop paired with the industrial trolley. This is the beauty of hiring a venue which can be customised to your taste because you can really create something that’s perfect for your wedding.
Love Spell provided the dresses for this shoot. Their USP is that they create Bohemian dresses that are sophisticated, chic, romantic and unique. They want you to forget about the hippie preconception associated with boho and want to serve the modern, confident, free spirited bride. The dresses didn’t disappoint and were divine in person. The delicate handcrafted lace combined with the classic silhouette made for a romantic and striking look.

I’m loving the sass of our bride and she looked stunning with her hair and make up done by Storme – I love that bold red lipstick!
There were so many thoughtful details that came together for this styled shoot. I’m hoping there’s lots of inspiration here for you. I’m going to leave you to soak up all this gorgeousness xx
