This stunning little workshop shoot that started at Chelsea Old Town Hall, was packed full to the brim with fun and gorgeous details to show that a micro wedding can be super chic. For the bride, a dress with the wow factor, the most beautiful flowers in the bridal bouquet, gorgeous hair styling and makeup – it can all have you feeling a million dollars on your wedding day. And this inspirational shoot has lots of ideas for an elopement or micro wedding that doesn’t compromise on aesthetics. The surrounding streets of Chelsea, in Springtime, are the perfect backdrop for some memorable bridal couple portraits too with the iconic Albert Bridge and the blossom-lined trees.

My buttercream wedding cakes are never small in style, so even for a small wedding I wanted to show that you can have maximum impact. So I created a showstopper design for the cake (and yes, it’s a buttercream cake!) with that striking diagonal and the contrasting colours to complemented the wedding colour palette. And with just the right arrangement of fresh flowers on the top – the cake had a modern, contemporary vibe perfect for this inspirational shoot.
