What strange times we’re living through right now. The impact of the Covid-19 virus is being felt by all and for those of you who had plans to get married this Spring and have chosen to postpone your wedding to Autumn or Winter this year, it must be feel like quite a curveball to have to adapt your wedding ideas and themes. But the important thing is that you will have your wedding and it can be just as beautiful, if not more. The one thing for sure is that everything we experience after lockdown is going to taste all the sweeter, be all the more memorable and be all the more heartfelt.
If you’ve been chatting with me, you’ll know I’m all about being flexible and working with the changes so I wanted to share some inspiration with you from a shoot that took place at the cusp of winter. If you’re a style conscious couple, you’re going to love the contemporary, stylish and elegant details and hopefully it will give you some ideas for planning a wedding in a different season.
The colour palette is neutral focusing on creamy ivory, white and stone, but has touches of colour with warm yellows, honey, pale blush, clay pink and gold. Combined with cool statement Tilly Thomas Lux accessories and ethereal Alexandra Grecco wedding gowns, it makes for cool, understated elegance. I hope you enjoy this modern wedding inspiration.
There’s plenty more inspiration from this shoot over on Love My Dress who featured it late last year.
