It’s coming up to a year, for these two love birds, since they got married and I thought it was about time that I blogged about their wedding. It was a lovely, small wedding that took place in August at the elegant Orleans House and seems almost all the more pertinent now considering the current times. The government guidelines in place right now, to restrict numbers of guests, means that more and more couples are choosing to have a small, intimate wedding in 2020 and are delaying having their large wedding reception till next year. Or are just going all out and having an amazing small wedding right now. Having their most beloved family and friends and making it a really special occasion by having all the indulgences and sometimes all the cake!
As I was looking through these photos, I just thought that you can feel so much love and it struck me that whether you have a large or small celebration – the thing that matters most is the love. Coming together to witness and celebrate this most special of occasions where two people are united in love and marriage. This whole wedding took place Orleans House Gallery which is situated just by the River Thames. The ceremony took place in the luxurious and decadent Grade 1 listed Octagon Room and their gorgeous rustic style wedding reception took place in the Coach House. I’m not a great one for words, so I’m going to let the photos tell the story of the day.
