Chic Wedding at the Savile Club London

15 February 2025

I kicked off 2025 with a January wedding at the Savile Club in London and when I stepped through the doors, I realised that I’ve never shared the stunner of a black-tie wedding that I took part in October 2021. The bride had thoughtfully designed and planned everything so beautifully that the wedding tables, the cake design, her outfit choices all still feel so current today. So this is a little throwback to M and A’s stylish wedding.

At the Savile Club, they offer a beautiful dessert table to their guests, which would be indulgent enough but the couple still wanted a super cute cake for their cake cutting moment. This little 2 tier beauty with its smooth buttercream exterior finished with an ivory coloured hand-dyed silk ribbon felt perfect for their sophisticated party vibe. Inside was a delicious flavourway of coconut cake with raspberry compote and luxurious vanilla buttercream.

So to give you a little insight into the Savile Club – it’s located in Mayfair London, and is a traditional gentlemen’s club that was established all the way back in 1868 with a long list of esteemed members often those associated with literature and the arts. Putting history and facts aside, through the photos I’m sharing here, I really wanted to give a moment to this exquisite venue. When you step inside, you get whisked away to another time with its stunning French interior design – the spaces available for weddings include the ballroom and dining room are breathtaking. The interiors themselves with the decor with the painted ceiling and the chandeliers, as well as the ornate windows, well it all makes the venue feel like a very special place to be. Every time I get to work at this venue, I feel very grateful as I’d never normally have the opportunity to step behind doors like these otherwise.
