I have this beautiful real wedding to share with you. I know – a real wedding! On the cusp of going into lockdown 3.0 in London, this lovely bride and groom managed to get wed. Despite their families being stuck in their home country, they went ahead and seized the moment to have a last minute intimate wedding. I knew it was going to be a winner of a day as the sun shone brightly from dawn till dusk for them on that mid- December day.
They had their marriage ceremony at the beautiful St Agatha’s, a church that’s local to me in Kingston upon Thames. And then they celebrated and partied the rest of the day away at the beautiful Bingham Riverhouse.
Yes, the wedding may have been small due to the number of guests, but Veronica and Joey more than made up for it by having all the lavish things starting with a couture bridal gown, stunning Manolo Blahnik bridal shoes, a red London bus to transport them wherever they wanted to go, , all of the flowers, divinely delicious food, a gorgeous bespoke cake (with more flowers), two lots of confetti, a first dance under fairy lights and glimmering stars overlooking the River Thames, and finishing off with sparklers. A day filled with love, laughter, tears and magic. Weddings have been far and between through 2020 – but it’s these moments that we live for. These moments that make us human. These moments that we cherish and which light up our lives. I cannot wait to be released from this lockdown to be able to celebrate these incredibly meaningful moments again.
Thank you to Lucie from The Unscripted for sharing her beautiful images with me so I can share them with you
